There is always so much to do in London and it certainly doesn’t go into hibernation during the winter. So, get your thick coat, woolly hat and snug scarf on and get out there! Here are some of the best things you can do this winter in London…
1. Winter Wonderland
Make your way to Hyde Park from 23rd November for Winter Wonderland! There is so much to do there, including ice skating, rides, shows, shops, restaurants, bars and so much more. Chances are you might see a famous face or two as well so keep your eyes peeled. Nothing is more likely to get you in the Christmas Spirit.
There are absolutely loads of museums all across London that can shelter you from the cold and even better, most are free! Some of the most interesting include the Tate Modern, the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum and the British Museum. London is one of the world’s capitals of culture, so make sure you make time to visit some of these brilliant museums.
3. Ice skating
Winter means one thing – ice skating! Get into the festive spirit by heading to Somerset House during the day for a fun skate, or later in the evening come along and see some big names take to the decks whilst you try not to fall over!
4. Christmas Markets
Cold weather and dark evenings mean only one thing – Christmas is coming! There are loads of awesome Christmas Markets all over London, where you can grab a bargain or simply enjoy a wander with a hot chocolate. Don’t let the weather stop you either – Barbican and Leadenhall markets are both undercover.
Winter shouldn’t stop you visiting London’s beautiful parks. Wrap up warm and kick your way through the fallen leaves and see what the quieter parts of the city offers. There are loads of parks you can wander around – Hyde Park, The Regent’s Park, Kensington Gardens, Kew Gardens and so many more.

CHELSEA GO FOR FA CUP GLORY
On Saturday our ladies go head-to-head with London rivals Arsenal in a game which could see Emma Hayes’ team make history by winning the trophy for the first time! A couple of weeks later, on the 19th of May, Antonio Conte’s men face up to ex-Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho and his Manchester United charges looking to secure their EIGHT FA Cup title.

The seven-day festival returns once again this month with fabulous events occurring each day of the week between the 14th and 20th of May!
