Whilst the organisation has been chipping away at reducing the environmental impact of its business activities for a number of years, these latest figures show a significant step forward.

This is something that has not been lost on Managing Director, Keith Keen, who said: “I am very proud that we have taken such a big sustainability step forward in the last year. This land-mark achievement has been driven by a number of factors, such as the capabilities of Cordic’s superb, industry-leading booking and despatch system and the success of our job-sharing initiative The MultiFleet, which pools the resources of numerous private hire operators, enabling the closest vehicle from those fleets to be allocated to the most appropriately located customer.

“However, the biggest contributory factor has been the expertise, diligence and hard-work of the company’s staff and drivers. And, on behalf of myself and my fellow directors, I’d like to thank them.”
